Bring truly excellent native English projects for children ages 10-18 to your school.
At the core of what we do is the idea that modern teaching, the digital environment, and requirements of the future need new and exciting approaches to native English project weeks.
Gathering together highly experienced trainers from native English speaking countries, our aim is to help your children gain a deeper knowledge of English use.
Our modules explore critical thinking, coaching, creativity and confidence boosting, and provide practical and imaginative tools that the children can apply in real life circumstances as they go through school and beyond.

Why us?
Our core educational focus is one of encouragement and inclusion.
The team is experienced at building a rapport with children, so that within the week we can maximise all the positive aspects of absorbing native English speaking styles, mannerism and culture that complements course-books and the curriculum. As a result, children on our courses are better prepared to use their English as and when they need it without hesitation and with confidence.
Tailored, bespoke and individual
With over 15 different modules as well as specialised addons at your request, our course reflects your children, your school and your community. We draw from the most talented native English speaking trainers, who hold professional life experience not only as teachers, but alongside your modular choices.
Beyond the week
We are building collaborative and positive relationships with schools, teachers, parents and children, that last. Beyond English strives to be beyond partners with your school, aiming to complement your team of English teachers. We personally attend schools in addition to the week itself, to understand and craft the best week possible. We believe that a professional yet personal connection provides the most solid foundation for excellence throughout the year.

“To make a long story short:
we love what we do!”
“Having worked in over 50 different Austrian schools, we decided to make something that goes beyond normal project weeks, to really try to push the limit of what can be achieved, to bring amazing skills, deep creativity and real joy to using English. We connect with our classes in a profound way, and now we can really turn that into something special.”

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
Some of the questions we've been asked by schools and parents about Beyond English:
1. "How many days per week, and hours per day is a typical Beyond English project?"
A typical project can run from two to five days, and would take the full school day, during the academic year, however special exceptions can be made to work for your school!
2. "How much does it cost, and what is considered?"
The answer to this is twofold: practical and ethical.
Practically, our native English Trainers often live throughout Europe and require transport to arrive at the week, somewhere to stay, and we pride ourselves on paying beyond the industry standard to recognise the expertise we nurture.
Ethically, Beyond English is committed to equal opportunities, regardless of background. We want the maximum amount of participants, as children deserve the opportunity to have an inspirational, thrilling and fun experience with English, tailored to their individual needs and wishes.
To achieve the maximum amount of participants we are priced competitively, to make the most profound impact on the English ability of children at your school.
Passion and impact before profit.
3. "How are Beyond English projects relevant to the coursework our children need to complete in the year?"
Beyond English modules feature specific lessons that pair with the coursework Austrian schools have to deliver, aligning with your needs. An example would be the 2023-24 release of "More! 3" focuses on culture and identity in native English countries. In our "Native Experiences" module, we specifically relate dozens of quality and personal experiences to the children, giving them a huge set of resources to be used in school later in the year.
We deepen the relationship with the English taught by the school, focusing on critical thinking tasks, team focused communicative games with consequences and storytelling. These directly add a fun and immersive perspective for children.
We want them to forget they are in an English lesson, while they accept the challenge to push their English ability.
4. How do you measure the impact of the course?"
Our school relationship begins with teachers and students.
We relate to the experience and expertise of the teaching staff, interviewing the English department to discover the achievements and challenges unique to the school.
After this we survey the students to find out what configuration of environment, group size and learning style they prefer. We then ask for their prioritisation of module choices, and design the course around that. During the course our trainers create a daily summary of achievements and impact linked to the course selection and after the course through gathering feedback from teachers, parents and pupils we can track the exact level of positive impact Beyond English has had. No other project week provider offers this level of analysis and customisation.
5. "What is the general process of a Beyond English Project outside of the week itself?"
Work beyond the project features a minimum of three visits to the school, for every project, regardless of if we have worked together before. Here is a flow chart showing our process in formulating a bespoke course, setting the foundation for measuring impact, and providing meaningful insights and additional support after the project is complete.
Ethical Promise
Beyond English is committed to the highest standards
1. Our commitment to safety & responsibility
At Beyond English, the safety and wellbeing of every child is our highest priority.
All of our trainers are required to obtain the Strafregisterbescheinigung Kinder- und Jugendfürsorge — the official Austrian criminal background check specifically for working with children and young people. This level of vetting is not yet standard across native English projects, but we believe it should be.
By voluntarily holding ourselves to this higher safeguarding standard, we ensure that every member of our team is not only a passionate educator and native speaker — but also fully cleared to work safely and responsibly with children in Austrian schools.
We feel that to truly work with Austrian schools means aligning with their Kinderschutzkonzept. This is part of our broader commitment to professionalism, trust, and the highest educational and ethical standards.
2. Emotional safety and feedback culture (Fehlerkultur)
In every workshop, project week, and lesson, we foster a positive "Fehlerkultur" - a healthy approach to learning from mistakes. We reinforce positive behaviours, encourage effort and curiosity, and always correct with kindness.
We believe students thrive when they feel safe to take risks, try new things, and grow through experience. We learn and grow from our mistakes together in confident comfort.
3. Protecting your children's identity
We also take data protection seriously. Any personal information, images or videos taken by us or shared with us is handled responsibly, in line with Austria’s Datenschutz regulations.
Our data protection statement can be found here.
Our processes are transparent and respectful of your right to privacy, and focus on permission and comfort above all.
